The Tarot
Tarot (known as tarock), pronounced Tarou, seventy-eight cards in a deck.
The instinctive meaning of tarot cards are guided and used by mystical writers from ancient Egypt. Also the Kabbalah of jewish mystic, however there is no documentation providing evidence before 1800's. Tarot cards were used for games throughout Europe, for suit match of standard deck with 52 cards. There is also a 21 card suit and the suit symbols are normally different.
The term Major Arcana and Minor are utilized in perception of the cards but not used by the readerTarot cards are utilized primarily for instinctive purposes, with the trump cards in addition to the Fool making up the twenty-two card major arcana cards and the ten pip and four face cards in each suit the fifty-six card minor arcana.
In the 1400's Card playing began in Europe with leaders of Egypt, with suits similar to basic 'Latin' suits of Swords and Cups (consist disk, pentacles), provided in traditional Spanish decks.
There are many theories on the origin of Tarot, evidence indicates the first deck was created during 1400’s in either Milan or Italy, when additional cards with illustrations were added to the ordinary four suit decks that previously exist. These new decks were originally called triumph cards, and the additional cards known merely as trionfi, accordingly evolved into the word "trumps" in English language. During the 15th century a Milan (rulers) family had the oldest surviving cards from the fifteen incomplete decks painted.
